!!! Thank you so, so much for this amazing Super 8
of Graham's arrival into this world! What a wonderful gift you have given us, Graham, Graham's children and Graham's grandchildren. You have created a family heirloom and we will cherish this always. I will never forget watching this on Christmas morning with you...every time I watch this film it brings tears to my eyes. This has been the best time of our entire lives. Thank you for being such a wonderful brother and now an amazing Uncle! Grahamie loves you so! Love, Char, Steph and G

HOLA! I'm back! I know it's been a while since my last post (my 3 fans have been giving me a hard time about it, thank you very much Paige, Hunt and Kati)...but I've been busy - traveling, shooting weddings and engagement sessions and biking around town on my new vintage road bike (more on all of that later)! I finally sat myself down and wrote out my editorial calendar for the next few months! I am determined to keep this blog rolling! Stay tuned because I've got a lot of great content coming!!! I mean, A LOT and I am so fired up about it!!!
I'm thrilled to kick it off with my promo Super 8 Film
, made by my amazing brother, Hunter
. I love how it turned out!!! Since we are still learning how to create Super 8mm films, you can see that it's a little grainy but we are getting better and better! I'm so happy Hunter helped Steph and I capture this special time in our lives here in this great city! Click here
and enjoy! XO! Char
I've included a few photos from the day. Hunter holding his new "baby" (above) and me jamming out to something in my garden to get pumped up for our day of shooting (below).
I am the luckiest girl in the world to be able to work with my brother. He's my best friend and we have so much fun together. Here we are cruising down King Street. Shot on a LOMO.
Hunter rocking his new Super 8.
My 2nd outfit...on Longitude Lane...one of my favorite spots downtown.
Thank you, Hunter!!!!
Email me if you'd like to learn more about adding the Super 8mm film
to your wedding day!
I really, really cannot wait to show you all of the beautiful images from Jennifer & Jim's beautiful wedding at the Carriage House at Litchfield Plantation
but for now I can only show you a sneak peek and of course, our VERY FIRST SUPER 8MM FILM!!! Do you remember my Assistant Hunter
(aka my best friend and frère extraordinaire)? Well, he has been hard at work researching and practicing Super 8mm filmmaking. We shot about 10 rolls at Jennifer and Jim's wedding and are thrilled with how everything turned out! While I shot the wedding day, Hunter focused on the Super 8mm and he did such a great job. The final cut moved me to tears and we are so proud that Jennifer and Jim can enjoy this film for many years to come! It will truly become a family heirloom. I am such a proud sister to showcase Hunter's work! Great job, Bunts! I am also so grateful that Jennifer and Jim trusted us as our first Super 8mm clients! Thank you both! We can't wait to shoot more of these at upcoming weddings. Click here
